Mgr. Alois Šatava is Partner at act Řanda Havel Legal. He has been practising law since 1998.

Alois Šatava completed his studies at the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague in 2003. In 2002, he completed his studies at the Jönköping International Business School in Sweden with a focus on commerce, marketing and electronic communications. He worked at leading Czech law firms before joining act Řanda Havel Legal. He has acquired substantial experience throughout his career, especially in the areas of commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, insolvency law, financial and banking law and securities law. Alois Šatava has been recommended by the Legal 500 international rating company. He speaks fluent English.

Alois Šatava provides consultancy to purchasers and sellers within the framework of extensive international and medium-sized acquisitions and sales of companies active in various areas of industry and services, including acquisition financing for these transactions and post-acquisition restructuring. Alois Šatava additionally has experience with private equity transactions. Alois Šatava has provided legal consultancy in the energy sector and in the area of supplies of technological units and equipment. He has participated in a number of international projects in the area of syndicated loans and bond financing both on the part of debtors and on the part of leading international institutions as creditors. Alois Šatava is a member of the team preparing clients for the new general data protection regulation (GDPR).
