ŠKODA POWER a.s. successfully completed negotiations with Slovenské elektrárne a.s. and concluded a contract for work for delivery of steam turbines for completing the 3rd and 4th block in the nuclear power plant Mochovce (JEMO) in Slovakia.
Řanda Havel Legal provided legal advice to ŠKODA POWER a.s., a leading European manufacturer of steam turbines, on the negotiation and conclusion of a contract with Slovenské elektrárne a.s. (66% owned by the Italian energy concern ENEL) for delivery of steam turbines with equipment for the project completing the 3rd and 4th blocks in the nuclear power plant Mochovce (JEMO) in Slovakia. The installed capacity of the JEMO’s blocks 3 and 4 shall be 2x440 MW and completion of the blocks is expected in 2012 - 2013. According to the published information, the building costs shall exceed 2 billions EUR. The entire transaction was led by partner Jan Havel.
